 On July 14 2008, the peloton will sail past our guesthouse as it climbs first the legendary Tourmalet and then the thrilling Hautacam, a prelude to the Bastille Day fireworks and celebrations in nearby Lourdes. Stay with us and experience these unforgettable highlights of the 2008 Tour de France for yourself.
Your base is our elegantly refurbished 17th Century farmhouse in the heart of the Haute Pyrenees, ideally situated for the three mountain stages. On Sunday 13 July the riders traverse the Col de Peyresourde and Col d'Aspin, to the finish at the spa town of Bagneres-de-Bigorre (just 10km ride from the house). Next, the most explosive day of the Tour, Tourmalet and Hautacam, passing by our door! After a rest day in Pau on Tuesday 15th, the riders set off from Lannemezan (just 30km away) heading over the Col de la Crouzette en route to Foix.
Of course, your trip can be more than just watching. You will have the chance to cycle any (or all!) of the Cols featured in the Tour, and other nearby legends such as Luz Ardiden and Col d'aubisque. Once Ridden's Nick Taylor is our resident cycle nutter and a Hautacam veteran! Nick has offered to guide several of your rides, and is always on hand to discuss the best local riding.
We will ensure that you get the best vantage points to watch each stage, whether on your own two wheels or in our trusty Defender. Back at the farmhouse, you will be able to relax in comfort and enjoy the panoramic view from the swimming pool. Generous breakfasts and delicious evening meals will keep you in peak form.

Flights and Transfers
Our nearest airport is Pau, served daily Ryanair. We will meet your flight at the airport.
We can also arrange for collection of your group at Toulouse airport. Flights are available from BA, Easyjet, Flybe and Jet2. Please contact us for more information.
